Beginning as a singer in a sub-standard garage band as a thirteen year old, Rusty Milne has over the years been involved in many musical projects including metal bands, DnB soundsystems and Hip Hop projects, and under the guise of the "Harvey Fresh" takes the musical journey to another planet, dropping a kaleidoscope of Breaks, Hop Hop, DnB and Trip Hop. Influenced heavily by Beck, De la soul and Dj Shadow a habit of reusing or reimagining sounds in different contexts is a hallmark amongst his very eclectic and often off-kilter sounds.

 

Currently chipping away at an album under the working title "New Adventures in the World of Crayon", Harvey is hoping a patchwork sound-quilt built with slices of 80's thrash, jazz, early 2000's breaks and jump up jungle will make people dance to a different drummer.
