Purge+audit
Purge+audit (Mladen Luketin) approaches hiphop & downbeat through carefully arranged sample-based instrumentals. Sourcing a wide range of disparate recordings, he creates tracks that are jazzy, funky, smooth and a little bit strange.
Having hosted an underground hiphop and beats radio show Organic Chemistry on 89.7 Twin Cities FM through 2009, Purge+audit has released several free online EPs, coordinated successful beat-tape projects through the underground hiphop site Musical Schizophrenia, and some of his music has been used for a professional dance performance at Western Australia’s PICA gallery.
As well as working on projects with Perth emcees, Purge+audit is now developing his live act, as a dj spinning smooth and eclectic beats, and in building an upcoming live band project.
