Jazza
While he mixed drum & bass, he was also very interested in the art of scratching and turntablism. Locking himself in for months at a time practising over different Qbert videos, Jazza now incorporates some scratching kuts into his sets to add a little more personality and flair to the music he plays out.
It wasn't till late 2009 that he decided that he would venture down the production side of things. With a cheap laptop and his DJ headphones and months on end of trying different software (and enough money saved), he finally got a nice home studio setup and since then has been trying to make some decent music. Having many influences in different sounds, Jazza tries to incorporate everything he loves into his tunes. Thanks to the support from major Perth artists such as Shockone and Phetsta - everyday is a learning curve to keep making better music as well as keeping things interesting. Lately Jazza has been working with friends and fellow producers Ekko & Sidetrack - and things look very promising for the future...
